Create Tree Map

Create Tree-Map Chart:

This video contains how to create Tree-Map Chart in AIV.

Here are the steps to create a Tree Map chart in the AIV application:

1. From the left vertical menu, select the Chart Widget icon. Click on “Other Chart” and then select “Tree Chart.”

2. When you click on the Tree Map icon, the edit menu box will appear, and a widget will automatically be added to the content area of the dashboard, as shown in the figure below. (We have selected Sales.ds in this example.)

3. Enter the following details in the Hierarchy Property:

   • Drag and drop: Country, Product Line, and Year

4. Click on the “Add Hierarchy” button, as shown in the figure below:

5. Enter the following details in the chart controls:

   • Dataset: Sales.ds
   • Category Axis: country_drill
   • Value Column: quantityOrdered
   • Aggregation: Sum

6. Fill in the above details in the edit box as shown in the figure:

7. Click on the “Publish” button.

8. Compare your Tree Map chart with the example below to ensure it matches the expected appearance:
