Introduction
The Masterdata contains the Datasets section as follows:
A Dataset is a collection of data, consisting of one or more columns from a single table or multiple tables, organized for processing by business intelligence software. It enables users to extract meaningful insights, generate reports, create charts, maps, and develop various visualizations.
The source of the data can vary depending on how the organization manages its data. It could come from JDBC, flat files, web services, etc. Once the connection bridge is established between the data source and AIV (Active Intelligence Visualization), users can create different datasets relevant to different departments or users within the organization.
The Dataset tab can be accessed by clicking on Dataset or by selecting the option next to the Dataset tab, which will open the Dataset in a new tab. The Dataset and other sections under the MasterData tab are only visible if the appropriate privileges have been assigned to the logged-in user. Please contact your administrator if you are unable to access these sections.
Using the Datasets section, users can perform the following tasks:
